Steve Kerr agrees contract extension with Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has agreed a contract extension with the franchise through to 2026.

Steve Kerr has reportedly agreed to a $35 million extension with the Golden State Warriors, keeping him with the team through the 2025-26 season.

The extension comes after the Warriors’ 97-84 victory over Charlotte, but Kerr declined to comment, stating that nothing has been signed yet.

However, he expressed feeling “really good” about his future with Golden State.

Kerr’s current deal was set to expire after this season, but there was always the belief that both parties would come to a mutual agreement sooner rather than later.
